The Caring
Cartridge scheme collects used printer cartridges for recycling and raises
funds for the Children's Hospice South West (Registered Charity No
1003314)
Who Benefits?
Children’s Hospice South West provides the only hospice care for life-limited children and their families in the South West of England. In the South West alone there are more that 1,000 children with life-limiting illnesses.
Caring for a life-limited child can be exhausting and lonely experience and can put immeasurable strain on the family. Our two hospices, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Charlton Farm in North Somerset are places where families go for respite and relaxation, friendship, expert palliative and end of life care; the support for the families start from their referral to our hospice and continues into bereavement.
Children’s Hospice South West had now launched the Precious Lives Appeal
to raise funds to build a third hospice in Cornwall, which will put the
final piece in the jigsaw of world class palliative care we provide
throughout the South West. Sadly the need for children’s hospice care will
never disappear but with your help, we can be there for as long as the
families need us.

lives visit the Children's Hospice South West website:

How the scheme works
We collect original brand (not compatible /
remanufactured) inkjet and laser toner cartridges. We ask that you store
these in their original boxes (or the boxes your new ones came in) to
protect them. This protects the cartridges from damage in transit as
damaged cartridges are unusable and will not raise funds for the hospice.
Once you have collected a number of
cartridges, call us on 0845 1 08 05 06 to arrange collection. The collection
is at no cost to yourselves.
Who runs the scheme?
The scheme was previously run by BK Office but is now
administered by Greensource Solutions. Greensource Solutions also run
charitable recycling schemes for other charities but guarantee that all items collected via
the Caring Cartridge scheme will benefit the Children's Hospice.
